Suggested Hammock - Hamaca Hanging Dimensions |
This diagram was prepared for the NicamakaŽ sprang woven hammock models but it also applies to most hammocks types. The preferred hanging configuration is high end attachment so the hammocks hang or drape with a "smiley-face" profile.
If there is no overhead or vertical supports in an outdoor area, one or two posts strategically place will both save money and provide ideal hanging for almost all hammock types. This in turn allows the option of eliminating the need for spreader bars thus achieving maximum comfort. Once spreader bars are removed from the hammock equation, then the hammock become more useful and is easily relocated for use in indoor environments. This diagram provides
suggested hanging dimensions that will work with most hammocks & hamacas,
short or long, with or without spreader bars. |
