Nicamaka® which produces premier sprang-weave hammocks, developed a foam spreader-bolster which conveniently opens and displays hammocks with decorative flair. Currently, Nicamaka® has developed a newer, somewhat shorter spreader-bolster with a fiber-fill core instead of the stiffer foam. This newer bolster is soft enough to be use as a pillow as well as a decorative spreader. The flexibility of this spreader bolster, therefore, does not cause the instability and danger associated with an inflexible wooden spreader-bar, ensuring safe and secure use. When matched with a 12"x16"
comfort pillow (actually a
baby crib pillow) it is a safe way to display the
beautiful yarns and patterns of the Nicamaka® hammocks
(hamacas) without diminishing
comfort. A spreader bolster in one end with a pillow
at either end is a great "look".
Some prefer only one or two small pillows, so these set items are
also available separately.
